Trainworks Global LLC supplies a number of locomotive and passenger coach models to choose from, in a number of track gauges, unlike many amusement park train manufacturers. One of these iconic models is the Electric C.P. Huntington Train, which is available in 15″, 16″ and 24″ Track Gauges. Our Electric C.P. Huntington Train is offered with 2 types of power sources, both using Electric AC Traction Motors to propel the running gear of the locomotive.
We offer 2 sources of power for the AC Traction Motors:
- Lithium Iron Phosphate(LiFePO4 ) DC Storage Batteries (LFP)
- Internal Combustion Driven, GenSet.
Our Electric C.P. Huntington Train is designed to resemble the prototype locomotive which was built in 1863 for the Central Pacific Railroad(CP) of Sacramento California, which named the locomotive after one of The BIG FOUR founders of the railroad, Collis Potter Huntington, during the construction of the first Transcontinental Railroad in the North America. The C.P. Huntington locomotive was CP #3. You can still visit the location of the joining of the Central Pacific and Union Pacific Railroads, which took place at Promontory Summit, Box Elder County, Utah on May 10, 1869. For more information visit Golden Spike National Historical Park (U.S. National Park Service).
Trainworks Global LLC also offers Private-Label Brand products, which include a number of iconic models familiar to amusement train enthusiasts.
